How do I control the snake?
Swipe up, down, left, or right anywhere on the board, or tap the on-screen arrows. On iPad with a keyboard you can also use the arrow keys or WASD.
What's the difference between Classic and Wrap?
In Classic, hitting a wall ends the game. In Wrap, sliding off one edge brings you back on the opposite side. Each mode keeps its own best score.
The app closed mid-game. Did I lose my run?
No — Snake automatically saves an active game. Reopen the app and you'll pick up right where you left off.
How is my best score stored?
Entirely on your device. Snake doesn't require an account or an internet connection and doesn't collect any personal data.
How do I switch between light and dark?
On the start screen, use the Appearance selector: System, Light, or Dark.
